With all the technology we have why don’t we have drones in the air at these political events checking rooftops and such? Seems to be a common place for snipers.
You’re right, rooftops are a common threat location and drones can help with that kind of overwatch. The challenge is getting the right approvals, trained pilots, and integration with the rest of the security plan. Aerial tools can be valuable, but they work best when paired with adequate ground teams and site surveys.
