The flashlight I've had clipped on for two weeks
Been carrying the Oclip Pro S for a couple weeks now. Still on me.
Same footprint, a few dollars apart. I expected to like one more than the other and I was right.
The Pro S is the one. White light, UV, red, green, blue. Clips to a hat brim or sticks to a car hood. Charges on the same cable as my phone.
The UV changed things. Texas property, rural, scorpions are real. They light up green under 365nm. I sweep the ground now before reaching into anything dark. That’s not me being dramatic…it’s just the right habit.
My son grabbed it before I could write this. Apparently independent color channels are useful for stop motion animation. His discovery, not mine. It's been in his room since.
The Oclip Pro is worth looking at too. Simpler. Has a dedicated throw beam the Pro S doesn’t. Patrol guys and repair techs consistently show up in the reviews…that tells you something about who it actually serves.
Both are solid. One just fit my life better.
